The Secretariat of the Pacific Regional Environment Programme (SPREP) has received funding from the Government of Australia through the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) to support the implementation of the project “Strengthening Pacific Leadership in International Climate Change Engagement”. This project aims to respond to ongoing capacity building needs in the region for engagement in international climate change negotiations. This will enable the Pacific to deepen and strengthen their engagement in the UNFCCC process, to help secure outcomes as agreed by Pacific Small Island Developing States (PSIDS).
