The Pacific Ecosystem-based Adaptation Tool
The Pacific Ecosystem-based Adaptation Tool (Pacific EBA tool) provides decision support for planning for Ecosystem-based Adaptation (EbA) initiatives in the Pacific. It provides guidance on the types of EbA interventions that may be considered depending on different local circumstances and requirements across the region.
The Pacific EBA tool is tailored to the needs of planners at the national, subnational and community levels in the Pacific. It utilises three guiding questions to identify possible EbA options and does not require the input of detailed datasets.
1. Select Sector - for which sector are you planning to undertake the adaptation measures?
2. Select Ecosystem - in which ecosystem is the site located?
3. Select Climate Impact - Which climate impact are you planning to adapt to?
Instead of detailed planning and design information, the tool provides links to information for planners to initiate scoping and selection of potential EbA options. After completion of the guiding questions, the tool will display a selection of EbA options for consideration, as well as a description of each option.

Adaptation Impacts Database
Learning from the past, making sense of impact to inform the future.
The IA Methodology tool and the Adaptation Impacts Database was developed by the GCCA Scaling Up Pacific Adaptation (SUPA) Project which presents an approach to track performance of adaptation options and measures the outcomes, key for improved decisions.
The IA methodology tools has been tested in 10 PICs by the SUPA Project.
