Special Session 2: Progressing Rio+20 Outcomes in particular SIDS 2014 Conference, Sustainable Development Goals and the links with the Post 2015 development agenda [Concept Note]

Abstract:

Concept Note for Special Session 2 which provides an overview of the processes involving the SIDS 2014 preparations (Pacific preparations in particular), the global processes evolving in developing the Post 2015 development/SGD agenda and discuss the opportunity for key decision makers to participate, share their views and experiences and agree on key issues, priorities and challenges that the Climate Change and Disaster Risk Reduction community wants to highlight in these key global processes at the Joint Meeting of the 2013 Pacific Platform for Disaster Risk Management and Pacific Climate Change Roundtable, 8 - 11 July 2013, Nadi, Fiji.
