7th Meeting of the Pacific Meteorological Council (PMC-7)

The Pacific Meteorological Council (PMC) functions as a specialized subsidiary body of the SPREP Council Meeting, tasked with coordinating the scientific and technical programs and activities of the Regional Meteorological Services. The PMC-7 meeting will comprehensively address strategic matters at both national and regional levels including the updates on the Weather Ready Pacific Program, review of strategic documents and updates from the 6 Panels which are the technical working groups of PMC. 

The Government of Vanuatu, in partnership with the Secretariat of the Pacific Regional Environment Programme (SPREP) and the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) will be hosting the Seventh Meeting of the Pacific Meteorological Council (PMC-7) from the 16 - 20 September 2024 at the Warwick Le Lagon-Vanuatu Resort in Port Vila, Vanuatu.
