This Privacy Policy outlines how the Secretariat of the Pacific Regional Environment Programme (herein referred to as “SPREP”) manages your personal information that is collected when you use the Pacific Climate Change Portal (herein referred to as the “PCCP”).
If you are registered to add content to the PCCP, then SPREP will store your full name and email address within the PCCP. This information is essential for SPREP to ensure that you are a bona fide contributor. SPREP assures you that the information provided by you shall only be used for bona fide purposes, and it shall not be commercialized or otherwise made available to any database service provider.
If you are merely visiting the website and not registered as a contributor, then the PCCP will not solicit or collect any personal information. As a standard protocol, your Internet Protocol (IP) address may be noted automatically on our registry.
