ALL countries in the Pacific including Fiji are working with Germany to help shape the international climate action agenda. Head of German donor agency GIZ James Macbeth said these countries would work hand in hand to help reduce greenhouse gas emissions and to combat climate change effects on Pacific Island people.
Mr Macbeth was present with regional experts on environmental issues from 14 Pacific Island Countries and Timor-Leste who had gathered at the Holiday Inn Suva yesterday for the European Union and GIZ’s Adapting to Climate Change and Sustainable Energy (EU-GIZ ACSE) program’s peer learning workshop.
