PRIME Minister Voreqe Bainimarama says climate change is the single most important crisis facing Fiji right now.
"About 830 communities in Fiji may need to be relocated," Mr Bainimarama told delegates of the 45th Colombo Plan Consultative Committee Meeting (CCF) in Suva last week.
"Of this group, about 40 are high priority. We will keep them as close to their current location as possible so that the cultural, social and economic disruptions can be kept to a minimum," he said.
