PACIFIC Island states have joined hands to reaffirm their commitment to continue to undertake concerted actions within their respective capabilities to address carbon emissions from international aviation.
And these are to be in line with respective State Action Plans, aligned with the Paris Agreement for "nationally determined contributions' for States" collective commitments toward climate action.
Pacific Aviation Ministers made this commitment at the Pacific Island States on International Aviation and Climate Change meeting, which was discussed at Sofitel Fiji Resort and Spa on Denarau Island in Nadi on Thursday.
