AGRICULTURE and forestry form the basis of livelihood for many people across the Pacific Island region and the impact of climate change on these sectors must be understood.
Pacific Community (SPC) deputy director-general Dr Audrey Aumua said this was the aim of the newly launched Vulnerability of Pacific Agriculture and Forestry to Climate Change report.
"This new book we hope will become a well-used resource by environmental managers, policymakers, planners, researchers and students as we continue to work together to address the climate crisis," Ms Aumua said.
