Rare relics from blackbirding trade go on display in Bundaberg

Joan Winter, the curator of Fish Hooks and Moving Trees, said the exhibition featured rare objects dating back to the 19th century.

"The oldest objects in the show go back to the 1870s, the 1860s, and the oldest objects come mostly from the labour trade and blackbirding industry," Ms Winter said.
