Tuvalu PM: Survival of 11,000 islanders on the line

Update: 12:03PM The Tuvalu government has announced the survival of its 11,000 population is on the line at the upcoming United Nations Climate Change conference.

In a press statement today, Tuvalu Prime Minister Enele Sapoaga, one of the leading voices from small island states who is leading the Tuvalu delegation to the climate change summit, has issued a challenge to world leaders that Tuvalu will not accept failure to the formalisation of a legally binding agreement on climate change.
