DISASTER risk management does not only concern the management of natural hazards.
Yesterday, the Ministry of Health and Medical Services took the opportunity presented by the US Embassy to train its health inspectors and those in municipalities around the country on the proper use of pesticides.
Health and Medical Service Ministry chief health inspector Dip Chand said they did not want the effects of climate change to be an extra burden to the ministry through vector borne diseases which could be controlled now.
