Papua New Guinea Keen To Learn On ASEAN "Best Practices"

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 5 (Bernama) -- Papua New Guinea, which is seeking to become a full-fledged member of ASEAN, is keen to learn on the grouping's "best practices" in areas ranging from food security to climate change in order to connect ASEAN to the Pacific.

Its Foreign Affairs & Immigration Minister Rimbink Pato said being one of the biggest islands in the Pacific, Papua New Guinea wanted to be exposed to ASEAN's regional programmes.
