Marshallese poet Kathy Jetnil-Kijiner, who spoke in front of the United Nations last September for its Climate Summit in New York, will be the first speaker for the University of Guam's Presidential Lecture series.
UOG President Robert Underwood presents the first Presidential Lecture of 2015 at the university's Lecture Hall at 7 p.m. tomorrow, featuring the Marshallese poet in a lecture entitled "Iep Jeltok: A Basket of Poetry and Activism."
