The Marshall Islands has called for a new global target to reduce shipping emissions ahead of next month's meeting of the International Maritime Organisation's environment committee.
The tiny South Pacific nation is the world's third biggest shipping registry, but is increasingly threatened by rising sea levels linked to climate change.
