Climate change, and specifically global warming, will be the second global mega-trend to affect sovereign credit risk through this century, says ratings agency Standard & Poor's.
According to a new report by the agency, titled 'Climate Change Is A Global Mega-Trend For Sovereign Risk', climate change will join ageing populations to put downward pressure on sovereign ratings.
