As the dust settles on COP19 - the climate change talks in Warsaw that saw developing countries, NGOs and others walk out in protest over slow progress and murky priorities - one thing seems clear: if we’re going to tackle climate change, we need to take some lessons in energy and urgency from young people.
Young people such as the youth activists who gathered in Warsaw from all corners of the earth, packing as much talk and action as possible into the two-week conference. Young people like those who walked out in protest, vowing to campaign for change in the real world. ...
