The Warsaw Summit descended into a series of increasingly frantic meetings this evening as Ministers battled to reach a deal on a controversial "loss and damage" mechanism designed to help developing nations cope with the impacts of climate change.
The summit is currently continuing into Saturday evening, 24 hours after its scheduled close, with the final plenary session characterised by a series of "huddles" between delegations attempting to resolve divisions on the wording relating to the promised "loss and damage" mechanism. ...
