President Tommy Remnengesau Junior says typhoon recovery in Palau is likely to be overshadowed by thre major international effort in the Philippines but his country can't recover on its own.
The island of Kayangel was totally devastated by Super Typhoon Haiyan and there was major damage in the capital Koror and in Babeldaob before the typhoon struck the Philippines. President Remengesau says the northern Pacific was once free of typhoons but global warming may be responsible for Palau being hit by two major typhoons in less than 12 months.
