New Zealand's tuatara are the only reptiles of their order to have survived from the dinosaur age and now scientists are using them in a test for surviving climate change.
The scientists from Australia and New Zealand have developed what they say is the first "rigorous quantitative framework" to decide whether to relocate animals threatened with extinction by climate change.
