The President of Kiribati Anote Tong has raised concerns about how the new Australian government is dealing with climate change.
Since being sworn into office, the conservative coalition in Australia, has wrapped up groups like the Climate Commission, begun work repealing the carbon tax, and has given indications it's prepared to listen to those who question the science that has long forecast rising sea levels and warming temperatures. The Australian Government has also announced a major cut in its foreign aid spending.
