With the ocean lapping the shoreline of the beautiful island of Kiribati, this South Pacific isle looks the picture of paradise.

But while this tiny atoll of South Tarawa may look heavenly, it will soon be completely submerged by the sea - and all because of climate change which has prompted rising sea levels.

And, just like the mythical Atlantis, it may sink into the sea and become an underwater world.
