Guam - Climate change is real for island nations. And that's one of the topics to be addressed at this week's University of Guam 2013 Island Sustainability Conference. Palau's Noah Indechong, a Goldman Environmental Prize Winner and Time Magazine's 8 heroes of the planet, is a keynote speaker.
He said, "As the ice melts the volume of the water gets bigger as it warms it expands and every therefore prediction is coming, so the science is there and we need to make sure we prepare our islands our islands are going to be inundated we have to figure out what to do with our food where we live and how we build our resilience against that."
