Samoa considers cruise ships to accommodate small island states conference participants

Samoa does not have enough hotel rooms to accommodate the more than three thousand participants for next year’s small island developing states conference on climate change.

The Prime Minister, Tuila’epa Sa’ilele Malielegaoi, says it’s a challenge to host such a huge gathering and his government is considering using a cruise ship to help accommodate the participants.
