VOTUA Village of Ba and Maui Bay in Sigatoka are two coastal areas in the Western Division that were singled out by researchers at the University of Fiji to be part of a three-year survey for a US funded climate change adaptation program called Base Maps for Tropical Aquatic Resources.
Project manager Roselyn Naidu said the mapping of the two ecosystems would provide in-depth information on climate change adaptation for Fiji and other Pacific Island countries
