Abstract:
A REDD-plus pilot project case study on improved forest management. The pilot site is on the South Island of New Zealand and focuses on a Maori Indigenous forest resource.
Delivered at the inception workshop of the SPC/GTZ regional programme on Climate protection through forest conservation in the Pacific island countries. The 3-day regional
inception workshop took place in Suva, Fiji from 22 - 24 November 2010.
