Time series for water level, conductivity and temperature for selected bores. The Bonriki Inundation Vulnerability Assessment (BIVA) project aimed to improve understanding of the vulnerability of the Bonriki freshwater reserve to coastal hazards and climate variability and change. Improved knowledge of risks to this freshwater resource will enable better adaptation planning by the Government of Kiribati. For more information on accessing the physical data, please contact Peter Sinclair: [email protected].
A GIS layer showing borehole sites is also available. The following documents related to this layer are also available: Borehole_Monitoring_Data_-_BONRIKI_UPDATED_Aug_.2014_-_Master_Sheet.xlsx, Bonriki_Boreholes_-_Construction_Info.xlsx, Bonriki_Boreholes_-_Water_Levels_Info.xlsx, Bonriki_Boreholes_-_Geology_Info.docx File Type: Excel sheet, word document, point GIS Layer File Size: 4.0MB
This BIVA project was supported by the Pacific-Australia Climate Change Science Adaptation Planning (PACCSAP) programme.
