Media-buying baron Harold Mitchell is bankrolling a trip by Bill Shorten, his deputy Tanya Plibersek and immigration spokesman Richard Marles, who embark tomorrow on a four-day Pacific islands visit to discuss climate change.
The Opposition Leader, who has announced plans to visit the Paris climate change summit which begins next month, will discuss the issue with Pacific islander officials who have been some of the most outspoken advocates of taking action to combat global warming.
