Tropical areas are likely to experience the effects of climate change much earlier than other parts of the globe, according to a new study.
"It seems that the largest impacts of climate change are going to happen in the tropics as opposed to in the poles, which is what people were thinking before," says data analyst Assistant Professor Camilo Mora from the University of Hawaii.
