Solomon Islands govt appoints new Permanent Secretary for Enviroment

HONIARA, Solomon Islands --- Solomon Islands Ministry of Environment, Climate Change, Disaster and Meteorology has a new Permanent Secretary.

He is Dr Melchior Mataki, who assumed his new job on 01 July.

Prior to taking up his new job, Dr Mataki worked with the Secretariat of the Pacific Community (SPC) as team leader of a climate change adaptation programme piloted in Choiseul Province.
