Solomon Islands has again pledged unwavering solidarity with the Government and people of the Republic of China (Taiwan) in its noble quest for participation in the United Nations (UN) system and its 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
“We are together on this mission. How could we not? The UN is about people and it’s 2030 Agenda pledges to leave no one behind. And that includes the 23 million people of Taiwan,” the Solomon Islands Ambassador to the UN, Robert Sisilo assured the President of Taiwan Dr Ing-wen Tsai and her ministers last week.
