Sheikh Abdullah launches $5mn solar plant in Fiji

H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the UAE’s minister of foreign affairs, has inaugurated a $5mn solar photovoltaic (PV) micro grid project in Fiji.

Built by Masdar, Abu Dhabi’s renewable energy company, the clean energy project is the third financed by the UAE’s $50mn Pacific Partnership Fund, through the Abu Dhabi Fund for Development (ADFD).
