Seruiratu: Let’s do it the pacific way

Fijian Minister for National Disaster Management, Inia Seruiratu says the way forward to addressing climate change and disaster risk management in the region is to do it the ‘pacific way’.

Speaking at the Joint Meeting of the Pacific Platform for Disaster Risk Management & the Pacific Climate Change Roundtable, Mr Seruiratu said Small Island Developing States (SIDS) need to fully understand the issue of climate change and disaster risk management to be able to combat the issue.
