Update: 11:09AM RATU Epeli Nailatikau became the first president in the country to place his handprint on a tapa as a show of commitment in the fight against climate change.
After officially launching the Fiji National Faith Based Organisations three-day Environment Stewardship Summit 2013 at the Warwick Resort yesterday, the president dipped his hand in black paint and placed the mark on the tapa.
