The new Australian Government's shift in climate change policy has been met with dismay in the Pacific, where leaders have been trying to encourage greater global action to reduce carbon emissions.
The Pacific is already feeling the effects to rising sea levels, with fears countries like Tuvalu and Kiribati will be uninhabitable in the coming decades.
