[Opinion] Vanuatu: The Grief Of Islands

The islands of Vanuatu have been ravaged by cyclone Pam. The images of broken homes, the homeless people, are painful beyond comprehension. That a country can be so brutally devastated to nature’s forces is a terrible warning to us and our region’s vulnerabilities.

And to think with all the technology, many islanders had no idea that a terrible storm was about to hit them at over 200km per hour.
