The Government has launched a pilot project that could have far reaching benefits for the Pacific region, according to the South Pacific Commission (SPC). In partnership with various national agencies, non-government organisations (NGOs) and developmental partners, the government will initiate an integrated, cross-sectoral climate change adaptation programme, the first of its kind in Solomon Islands.
