Museums link climate change, culture

A programme designed to strengthen connections between people in Samoa and the United States through museum-based exchanges was launched on Thursday evening.

Called the Museums Connect Progamme, Minister of Education, Sports and Culture (MESC), Magele Mauiliu Magele described the initiative as a “great landmark.”

“Samoa has witnessed heavy rains, tropical storms and repeated flooding throughout the last few decades, which added to the vulnerability on our local communities,” he said.
