PEOPLE of Nailaga in Ba and Nacula in Yasawa will now be able to look for long-term solutions to the effects of climate change on their environment while WWF works on assisting them with the solution for today.
Both villages, Nailaga beside the Ba River, while the other on the coast face similar situations where their land is disappearing because of the rising water level and today USAID through its Pacific America Climate Fund (PACAM) announced a grant of more than $500,000 for WWF to carry out the project on climate resilience in the two communities.
