French Polynesia proposes global fund for climate change refugees

French Polynesia’s assembly wants a global fund to be set up to help climate change refugees in the Pacific.

It has adopted a resolution to be taken to next week’s Pacific Islands Forum summit in the Marshall Islands for it to make a concerted effort to combat the effects of sea-level rise.
