Fijian ambassador visits Frederick

Organizers of the Fijian ambassador’s visit to Frederick hope it will help local students and officials better understand the Pacific island nation.

Winston Thompson became the Fijian ambassador to the U.S. in 2009. He had served as chief executive at Telecom Fiji Limited and in several government positions before taking the post.
