Fiji's decision to take on the presidency of COP23, the UN negotiations on climate change, has been regarded as a bold move for a small island developing state that is also affected by climate change.
Germany's State Secretary for the Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Building and Nuclear Safety Jochen Flasbarth made the comments today when he joined Prime Minister Frank Bainimarama at a side event at the UN to update preparations for COP23.
