COP19: Denise Matrias on a low carbon vision for the Philippines

COP19 (14/11/2013) – Denise Matrias, Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, talks about her work with Germanwatch on a low carbon project in an island in the Philippines where there are a lot of indigenous people and biodiversity.

She says that the area’s energy systems should be decentralised in order to address the terrain and the indigenous people who live there and are dependent on diesel power plants.
