The Climate and Development Knowledge Network (CDKN) has just launched a guide to the climate finance agenda items under discussion at CoP19. Written by Alpha Oumar Kaloga and Linde Grießhaber of Germanwatch with support from David Eckstein and Alix Mazounie, the guide is one of a series for developing country climate negotiators, by CDKN’s Climate Finance Advisory Service.
The guide provides negotiators with a synopsis of the key climate finance discussions from the past year under the UNFCCC. It assesses possible outcomes in Warsaw that can prepare the way – together with decisions at COP20 in 2014 – for the new global agreement on climate change, which will be agreed at the COP in Paris in 2015.
