Papua New Guinea indigenous climate change activist Latin N’Drihin, is making a nationwide call to 2017 candidates to have sound minded mechanism strategy in their heart to fight climate change before contesting.

“You cannot ignore climate change, because all impact infrastructure developments with DSIP will be affected and waste of public funds, so I urge those intending candidates with your party policies, to really have concerned and regard climate change as a priority focus area in your campaigning strategy,” Mr N’Drihin said.

“It’s a climate change election warfare and a must for climate smart action candidates to be chosen to rescue the vulnerable voiceless voters who are suffering, stress, emotional and affected by the impact of climate change.”
