THE harsh reality of climate change in the Pacific was highlighted by Prime Minister Rear Admiral (Ret) Voreqe Bainimarama as he addressed civil servants at the Public Service Excellence Awards on Friday evening. He said Fiji and other Pacific leaders had turned their minds to what island nations may have to do in a worst-case scenario.
Mr Bainimarama said Kiribati was one island neighbour which was feeling the effect of rising sea levels.
