Hundreds of staff working at Australia's offshore processing centre on Nauru have gone without flushing toilets and reliable power for up to a month.
Staff have been forced to use buckets to flush toilets and shower with bottled water.
However, the problems, stemming from blackouts on the island, have not affected the asylum seeker processing facility, which is powered by generators.
