European Union Climate Commissioner Connie Hedegaard has expressed worries over the likely threatening effects of climate change on Pacific Island nations. She said that international action on the issue is overdue. She was speaking on the eve of this week's Pacific Islands Forum in the Marshall Islands on Monday.
