FORESTS play an important role in regulating the earth's temperature and weather patterns by storing large quantities of carbon and water and this regulatory function has a profound effect on both the local and global climate.
For that reason, Fiji REDD+ program is organising a two-day workshop to draw up action plans that will ultimately strengthen the regulatory functions of our forests and the multiple benefits that can be realised.
