Abstract:

Concept Note for the Thematic Session 1 with the purpose to facilitate discussions on how best to promote integration of climate change and disaster risk management at all levels (national, provincial and/or local or state) and at all processes i.e from planning to implementation, monitoring and feedback in view of improving implementation and to provide the basis for achieving a triple win of reducing disaster risk, climate change adaptation and sustainable development at the Joint Meeting of the 2013 Pacific Platform for Disaster Risk Management and Pacific Climate Change Roundtable, 8 - 11 July 2013, Nadi, Fiji.
